Tim Santoro is a Nevada certified Peace Officer (Category I and III) and a Nevada Licensed Private Patrol Officer (PILB 4279).

Tim has experience dealing with criminal offenders under mental health evaluation. He previously served as an officer at a state-run psychiatric detention center. Part of his time here was serving as the lead officer of the facility intake unit. He regularly coordinated the intake process to include review of reports of incoming inmates, threat assessment and housing considerations, transfer considerations within secured housing units, booking procedures, use of restraints, and more. 

He was instrumental in the development of the formal intake process which included detailed tactics on assuming custody, housing considerations, processing and strip out processes, and coordinating with other disciplines. 

Tim is also skilled in training for both rookie officers and civilian staff in terms of safety and security procedures.
